Joseph Smith's son defends Monogamy in the Restoration.
Alexander Hale Smith, was a son of the Latter Day Prophet Joseph Smith, Jr. Joseph's widow, Emma Hale Smith and all their biological children united with the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints vs. The Latter-day Saint/Mormon church in Utah under Brigham Young's leadership. While the Utah church practiced polygamy and attribute Joseph Smith as the author of a claimed copy of a 'revelation' dated July 12, 1843 in Salt Lake City, UT on August 29, 1852, the RLDS church has always condemned polygamy and Joseph's sons consistantly opposed the principle as well as maintaining innocence of their father in regard to it.
